Your numbers never leave this device.
Everything you type into Vybe — income, expenses, goals — is encrypted and stored only in your browser, on this device. It is locked to your Google identity. We can see your email address so we can say hello. We can never see your numbers. There are no bank logins. We do not connect to any Account Aggregator. There is nothing on a server to leak.

The technical version
Your data is written to your browser's localStorage, an isolated per-origin store no other website can read. When you sign in, an encrypted copy syncs to our backend so your plan follows you across devices — the payload is opaque bytes; we hold your email for your account, never your salary, savings or holdings.Where we stand on the DPDP Act, 2023
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and its Rules govern how personal data is collected and used. We would rather say plainly how we meet it than leave you to infer it.
- What we collect
- If you never sign in: nothing personal at all. If you sign in with Google: your email address and display name, plus an encrypted blob of your plan that we cannot read. If you check your Vybe Score: an anonymous score and age bracket, with no identifier attached to it.
- Why we collect it
- Your email exists so your account works across devices. The anonymous score exists so we can tell you how you compare with others your age. That is the whole purpose, and we do not use either for anything else.
- Data minimisation
- There is no phone number field. No PAN, no Aadhaar, no bank credential, no Account Aggregator consent, no address. We ask for four numbers to produce a score and we do not keep them.
- Your consent, and taking it back
- Signing in is the consent, and it is specific to running your account. Monthly emails are a separate opt-in you switch on yourself, with one-click unsubscribe and no sign-in required. Delete your account and the encrypted plan goes with it.
- No sale, no sharing, no calls
- We do not sell data, do not share it with lenders or distributors, and nobody from Vybe will call you. Why we won't call.
